1,103 … and counting

SPRINGFIELD, MO. — Last year 1,103 inmates wrote to us indicating a decision to follow Jesus Christ through reading Today’s Pentecostal Evangel.

With your help we can reach even more in 2006. Right now we have the ability to expand our distribution to an additional 50,000 inmates — if we receive additional offerings.

Unfortunately, many false religions are flooding prisons with materials contrary to the Bible. Chaplains want to share the truth of God’s Word and are urgently requesting additional copies of Today’s Pentecostal Evangel.

For $1 a week, you can declare to the enemy that you have not given up on the souls of incarcerated men, women and teenagers. For only $1 each week, you can send an Evangel to four prisoners. That is a small price to pay for the lives that will be changed. (It is common for one magazine to be read by a dozen inmates.)

Please pray about what you can give to send this magazine into prison cells across the nation. Information on how you can send Today’s Pentecostal Evangel to a man or woman in prison can be found on page 16. Your financial gift may hold the key to an inmate’s spiritual freedom and help transform our prisons into centers for revival. Together, let’s seize the opportunity to touch men and women for Jesus.
