May 31, 2012 - A Season of Possibilities

By Dave Kidd

“For nothing is impossible with God”?(Luke 1:37, NIV).

This is a wonderful passage of Scripture to carry with you throughout the year. Yes, it is the beginning of the Christmas story, but it resonates with a truth for every season of life.

God sent the angel Gabriel to a young woman with the news of His plan. It was natural for Mary to question how the birth of Jesus could happen. Gabriel ended his answer with one of the most powerful lines in all of Scripture. What was impossible became effortlessly possible with the will of God.

Over the last year, Robin and I have witnessed amazing things God has done and continues to do in marriages and families. No matter how difficult or impossible things seem to be, God can move and bring resolution, restoration and healing to even the worst of all situations. And that holds true with every challenge, whether in a marriage, a career, or through an illness or any other life obstacle.

Do you face something that appears ready to overwhelm you? Nothing is impossible with God. Do you have a wonderful, God-given vision you have cherished for years and have never seen come to life? Nothing is impossible with God. Are you praying desperately for a loved one to come to a saving relationship with Jesus Christ? Nothing is impossible with God.

Are you ___________________? Nothing is impossible with God.
