Hey Kids!

Hey Kids!

Have you ever been in school and had your teacher pop a question at you like "Who was Napoleon?" or "Who was Pocahontas?" Perhaps you were able to answer the question, or perhaps you couldn’t answer and had to look up that person’s name in a schoolbook or encyclopedia or online.

You learn about a lot of famous people at school, and many of them lived a long time ago. This issue of the Pentecostal Evangel asks the question "Who is Jesus?" we don’t ask "Who was Jesus?" because even though Jesus lived a long time ago, He is still alive today. Jesus is God’s Son. He has always been alive, and He wants you to get to know Him.

The best place to look up stories about Jesus is in God’s Word, the Bible. You’ll find some great Bible stories to read if you check out the Scripture verses included in this Kids Edition. (All the Bible verses are from the New International Version.)

So find a comfy chair and sit down and enjoy these great stories about Jesus. There are plenty of activities and fun facts and cool prizes to win as well!
