The other day while walking down a corridor in a public building, I saw what appeared to be someone walking toward me. On coming closer, I found it was my own reflection in a huge mirror. For a moment it frightened me. Somehow a full-length reflection of one’s self is a startling thing. ...

Hey Kids!

Does your family go to amusement parks, carnivals or county fairs? Are you brave enough to get on a tall Ferris wheel or zoom around on a roller coaster? Do you enjoy eating corn dogs and cotton candy?

People in the Bible didn’t have roller coasters or Ferris wheels or cotton candy, but they still found ways to have fun with their families. When God created you, He wanted you to enjoy life too.

This special Kids Edition of the Pentecostal Evangel looks at different things people do for fun at amusement parks, and how those fun times can help you learn cool things in the Bible.

You’ll want to have your Bible handy as you zoom through these pages. (Bible references in this issue are from the New International Version.) Each of these stories by Christina Quick will remind you how special you are to God. You’re so special to God that He sent His Son Jesus Christ to be your Savior.

Be sure to try out the puzzles and activities, and send your name in for a chance to win a prize as well.

So let’s head over to our imaginary park and have some fun!
